Before & After: Creating a Functional Guest Room with Storage
Our client’s guest room was a catch-all for practically everything, creating quite the dilemma when guests needed a place to sleep. After deciding the room needed to be able to be used by guests once again, our client called Come To Order to help. After a 6 hour Professional Organizing Session, the space was transformed into a fully functional guest room with excess storage space in the closet.
Not only was the guest room completely transformed, but also the client was able to establish new habits based on her new found outlook on organization and space. Limits were set in place for how much space was available for particular categories of items. For example, when a storage bin with candles was full and no more candles could fit, she knew she didn’t need to buy more candles or she needed to part with ones she no longer liked in order to make room for new ones.
The client couldn’t have been happier with the process and the transformation, and the space was even used by guests within days of our visit! The sense of pride she had for finally organizing the room has motivated her to maintain and keep it up!

Good job! My husband and I have a similar guest room where all the clutter goes when we have to do a quick clean-up. But it kind of negates the possibility of overnight guests. 🙁
