Managing your family… keep it simple!
Although school takes up most the day and then afternoons and evenings are spent at extracurricular activities, from sports to music to dance, and more, when your children are at home they are probably busy with homework or maybe spending some much deserved free time with friends.
With a schedule like that, no wonder it is pretty difficult to find time to get your family organized at home. And, being organized at home is just as important as being organized at school because if your kids are not organized, they risk forgetting to complete assignments, missing a practice or losing their shoes in a clothes pile on the floor.
I want to reassure you that your home can be organized even on the tightest of schedules; however, only if you break projects into small, do-able chunks. That’s true for kids as well. Address just one item of clothing—shoes, pants, or T-shirts, for instance—and end up with a clutter-free shelf, dresser drawer or back pack.
